APDS ANGER MANAGEMENT EDUCATION CLASS
(Adults- Male/Female)

Monday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday 6:00 p/m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The APDS Anger Management Education program is, at minimum, a twelve (12) week process, which includes:

1. Intake and Assessment
2. Group sessions held once a week for a minimum of 12 (2 hours each) sessions
3. A minimum of four (4) individual sessions for each client
4. After care sessions are available on an as-needed basis
5. Completion of Customer Satisfaction Survey

Content:

1. An Africentric approach in managing anger
2. Understanding anger
3. Role of anger in our society
4. How anger affects us
5. Factors that contribute to anger
6. How to control anger
7. Use of anger as a tool for change and healing
8. Keeping a daily anger journal (APDS Approach)
